Moshood Abiola is the Principal Partner in Chambers. He obtained his LL. B from the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye in 2006 and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in November, 2007. He obtained his Master’s Degree (LLM) in Law at the University of Lagos in 2017 specializing in Commercial and Business Law, Maritime law, Energy Law and Comparative Constitutional Law.
Moshood Abiola has practiced law since 2007 initially with the Law firm of Messrs Alimi & Co before establishing M. B. Abiola & Co in 2013. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and he was elected as the Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch in 2017 for a two-year term which ended in 2019. He has just been elected as the Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch for 2019-2021. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law and also a member of Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria (BRIPAN)
James Sonde was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Justice in 2007 having obtained his Bachelors and Master’s Degree at Olabisi Onabanjo University and University of Lagos respectively, and since then have been involved in various areas of legal practice including Commercial and corporate practice, Admiralty and Maritime practice, Property Conveyance and Perfection and general practice. Over the years, in his bid to cut a niche, he has developed himself in a specialize field of Commercial law, International law and International Environmental law, International Trade and Investment, Energy Resources law and Arbitration.
James has attended a number of conferences both local and international to expand his frontier. He was at The Hague Academy of International Law for a course in Public and Private International Law; he attended International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC) for a course in International law and Diplomacy and participated in Model United Nations of the Hague Academy.
James believes in giving back to the society and as such being a member of Monitoring Team of the Legal Advice Scheme of Justice for All (a DFID Initiative Programme in Nigeria), a Pro – Bono lawyer with PRAWA/ Legal Aid Council of Nigeria and a member of the Pro –Bono team of the Human Rights Committee of the NBA Lagos. He is a member of so many professional bodies amongst are The Nigerian Bar Association, African Foundation for International Law, International Commercial Arbitration and currently the Secretary of Human Rights Committee, The Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos.
He is an astute writer and a researcher; he equally has passion for lecturing and aspires to be one of the great leading international practitioners of public and private international law.
Bayo Orekoya, Esq. is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, Nigeria (UNILAG) where he bagged his Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree with Honours in 2006 and was thereafter called to the prestigious Nigerian Bar in 2007 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He has a sound understanding of Corporate/Commercial Law practice especially in relation to the Capital Market Department where he manages corporate clients (Stock broking firms/Issuing Houses) on their duties to the various statutory regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and individual investors on the legal implications of their investment proposal at the Capital Market. Bayo Orekoya is an Associate of the Portfolio Management Institute, Nigeria, Member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), he is an accredited agent of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and a licensed Capital Market Solicitor of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He has participated in various municipal and international seminars, conferences, trainings and workshops on his area of core competences. He is a philanthropist, socialite per excellence and member of Lions Club International, Island Club and Ikoyi Club 1938. He is also a member Board of Trustee My Environment is Mine Initiative (me.mi) and Segun Adewale Foundation for Communities Development. He is happily married with children and enjoys travelling, solving legal challenges and reading best seller motivational books.
